I’m almost embarrassed to admit that I’ve been a CBS BIG BROTHER fan since its first season; but I am. If you’ve been a reader for a while, you’ve seen some of my eager assertions of affection prior to the start of each game, followed shortly after with my discontentment with the final casting choices. That’s all part of what makes the show enjoyable and so you know that when Season 15 airs this summer, I’ll be planted firmly in front of my computer to watch BIG BROTHER and I’ll relishing it all.
Watch BIG BROTHER
During its three month run, I’ll watch BIG BROTHER 15 from my internet connected device – that way I can watch both the broadcast TV version as well as the live feeds. You’d think after watching the goings on in the house 24/7, I’d skip the broadcast shows; however, without them it’s only a part of the picture. Plus I can go back and relive episodes from other seasons or within the current season.
Though the live feeds reveal quite a bit of the chaos and game play that never make it to the broadcast show, the feeders as we’re called, are not privy to diary room sessions. Additionally, only up to 4 cameras are broadcast via the feed from the total cameras filming (around 30 or so), so watching the broadcast show is a must to complete the picture.
Are you set for a summer of excitement? I know I am and I know I’m not alone in my love for this show that brings out the best and worst in people. So if you’re a fan, let me know. I’m also looking for kindred souls that understand the fascination I have with watching the hamsters in their unnatural habitat. It truly is a way to see what makes or breaks people.
BIG BROTHER Season 15 Schedule
The 15th season of the US BIG BROTHER show begins June 26, 2013, at 9PM ET/PT – that’s almost two full weeks earlier than usual. In a press released on January 11, 2013, CBS noted the longer summer edition and also provided the weekly broadcast schedule which is as follows: BIG BROTHER will be broadcast three nights weekly — Tuesdays (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT, beginning July 2), the LIVE eviction show hosted by Julie Chen will be broadcast on Wednesdays (9:00-10:00 PM live ET/delayed PT, beginning July 3) and Sundays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT, beginning June 30). The Wednesday live eviction show will move to 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT on July 17 after the reality baking series, based on the UK’s show “The Great British Bake Off,“ completes its season.

If you have the summer off and would like to spend it entertaining us feeders (those of us so addicted to the show that we watch the live 24/7 feeds), then please apply. You only have until May 11, 2013 at midnight, BIG BROTHER time (that’s Pacific time), to enter. There will also be open calls in some large cities for those who’d rather audition in person.

I don’t know why but I do watch this show and I have watched it for years. Some years I am not as interested in it, but most years I find it entertaining. I am truly amazed at how people act towards each other. But I do like to see the contests or games that they are doing.
I have to admit that Big Brother is one of my favorite shows. We love to see what they do. It amazes me how some of them totally forget the cameras are there. This show is one show that we always love to watch as a family. I wish I had the live feeds. Only problem with that is I would never get anything else done. 🙂
