Black Bean Burgers

- 1 can black beans, drained & rinsed
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup wholewheat bread crumbs
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- pinch salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- Wholewheat Buns, split and toasted
- Lettuce
- Tomatoes
- Pickles
- Mayo
- Mustard
- Salsa
- Mash beans in large bowl.
- Add garlic, seasoning and egg, mixing thoroughly.
- Stir in bread crumbs.
- Shape into 5 patties.
- Prepare skillet or griddle pan with low calorie cooking spray and brown patties for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Serve in wholewheat bun or with a salad. Good with salsa!
