Turkey Havarti and Apple Sandwich with Cranberry & Walnut Mayo
 
 
Need more or less of the cranberry & walnut mayo? Just mix equal amounts of the three ingredients. Don't have a food processor? Use a mortar and pestle or chopped the walnuts with a knife for a chunkier mayo.

Ingredients
  • Cranberry & Walnut Mayonnaise
  • 6 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 6 Tbsp whole cranberry sauce
  • 6 Tbsp walnuts, crushed
  • Pepper
  • 8 slices bread
  • 8 slices Foster Farms Turkey
  • 8 slices Havarti cheese
  • 1 Golden Delicious Apple, thinly sliced
  • leaf lettuce
Instructions
  1. Prepare the cranberry & walnut mayonnaise early in the day or the day before.
  2. Whisk mayo, cranberry sauce, and walnuts. Pepper to taste.
  3. Refrigerate
  4. Assembly - spread the cranberry & walnut mayo on all slices of bread.
  5. Layer the turkey, cheese, apple and top with lettuce on half of the slices.
  6. Add the second piece of bread and enjoy!
  7. Refrigerate any leftover cranberry & walnut mayo for up to 5 days.
