Sour Cream Cinnamon Rolls
  • 2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbls baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ c vegetable oil
  • ¾ c sour cream
  • 1 Tbls milk
  • ½ c sugar
  • 1 Tbls cinnamon
  • 5 Tbls butter, softened
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Prepare an 8" by 8" pan by greasing it with shortening or using non-stick baking spray
  3. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and soda with a spoon. Mix well
  4. Add oil, sour cream, and milk - stir until blended.
  5. Turn the dough out onto lightly floured work surface. Kneed just until a smooth ball of dough forms. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a 8"x 15" rectangle.
  6. Mix cinnamon and sugar together in a small bowl; set aside.
  7. Spread the softened butter over dough then sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar blend.
  8. Tightly roll the dough starting from the long side. Pinch the seam to seal.
  9. Cut the roll of dough into 8 uniform rolls. Place cut side up in prepared pan.
  10. Bake 15 minutes or until the rolls are a light brown color.
