You don’t have to be the guy up at dawn running five miles through your neighborhood, or the supermom who works and runs triathlons while making sure her kids have everything they need to be successful at homeschooling, you don’t even have to be the once-a-year jolly old elf who gets more done in one night than he does all year to appreciate the Celliant Performance Comforters and Sheets from Sleepletics. I don’t fall into any of these categories and I still enjoy everything about these luxury sheets we were provided with to try out.
But if you do have someone you love that is a fitness enthusiast, there’s something for them to love about these Sleepletics products that go beyond their comfort and durability. That’s a technology that’s said to help athletes recover while they sleep. But more about that in a minute. First, I want to tell you why sleep is important for all of us.
Good Sleep Is a Must for Everyone
I’m a firm believer in buying the best you can afford when it comes to sleeping. Sleep is so important to your health and wellbeing so this isn’t a place to skimp. If you wake often at night, stop and figure out what it is that’s keeping you from sleeping. Did you use substances that contain caffeine, nicotine, or alcohol? All of these can cause a sleepless night and should be avoided near bedtime. Did you exercise at least 20 to 30 minutes at least 5 to 6 hours before bedtime? If not, plan to make it happen tomorrow.

Prolonged sleeplessness can cause health issues.
Is the room too hot or cold? Are the blankets too heavy or light? Are the sheets scratchy or pilled? Is the mattress too soft or too hard? All of these things can make for a miserable night of sleep that can leave you grumpy the next day, but worse, your cells are not regenerating so you’re risking health issues from prolonged bad sleep like daytime drowsiness, an inability to concentrate, memory problems, a weakened immune system, and less physical strength. If you’ve checked all of these things and you’re still not sleeping well, it’s time to see your physician.
Celliant® Performance Comforters from Sleepletics®
What Celliant Performance Comforters from Sleepletics offer beyond great looks and relaxing colors is their Celliant mineral-infused fabric. This textile technology has been patented and clinically tested and found to promote local circulation and increased blood flow. It’s been evaluated by the Universities of California Irvine and Calgary as well as other prominent institutions over the last 15 years in 10 clinical trials. Additionally, Celliant products have been determined to be Medical Devices and are General wellness Products by the U.S. FDA (read the press release about the FDA determination here.)
Because of oxygenation’s performance benefits,[3] Celliant is being used in products by athletic apparel manufacturers like Saucony[4] and Reebok.[5] Celliant is currently being used in bedding, apparel, medical, and veterinary products.[6] Wikepedia
Originally named Holofiber, it was renamed by the Hologenix company to Celliant to avoid any confusion as to its composition. According to Hologenix, “It’s composed of 13 naturally occurring and thermo-reactive minerals infused into the core of yarns/fibers, it absorbs body heat, converts it into infrared light and reflects it back to the body to promote increased blood flow and local circulation.” And, Celliant doesn’t wash out so you’ll reap the health and wellness benefits as long as you use the product!
The comforter is then filled with a down alternative which makes them perfect for temperate places like Seattle for every season. They’re also said to be wonderful for those suffering from asthma, allergies, or other sensitivities. Though we haven’t seen the comforters in person, they do have the same soft, ultra-comfortable, luxurious sateen weave the sheets do and we think they’re divine.

Celliant® Performance Sheets from Sleepletics®
We are currently enjoying the Celliant Performance Sheets from Sleepletics on our wonderful Sleep Number bed. My husband and I have a hard time finding sheets we both enjoy. I’ve often thought about buying two sets and cutting them apart and sewing the pieces back together so my side is flannel year-round and his is lightweight cotton or a blend that’s cool. So far, the Celliant Performance Sheets are working for both of us.

I’m not sure if we feel more energetic because of the Celliant mineral-infused yarns or not. They’re fighting against the dark days of Seattle weather when Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) runs rampant through the population. But we’re keeping up with the activities we have scheduled and haven’t started hibernating as usual, so they must be working. We’ll find out if we make it through this weird social-distancing holiday season which has us packing and shipping and moving things around much more than usual.
Sheets are available in Twin, Full, Queen, King, Cal King size and in neutrals Chalk, Blue, Tan, and Light Grey. Plus choose from pocket depths of 12″ and 15″.
