Use this basketweave crochet pattern for a traditional Easter Basket look. Add a gingham ribbon for a festive touch! This sample was made with – 2 balls Lana Grossa cotton mix 50 (50 % Cotton, 50 % Acrylic Yardage: approx 100 m (109 yd) / 100 g). It’s not readily available in the US, but similar cotton yarns are (see alternatives below) and a 6mm crochet hook. To get the pattern, you’ll need to add it to the shopping cart. Enter your name and address and “purchase” it (no credit card information necessary). Once “purchased” it’s available in the pattern download of the account you just opened. Please note if you’re in the United States you’ll need to use another country (the US isn’t an option – at least it wasn’t when I downloaded the pattern). I used the UK country option and typed my address in the UK format – street number in one box and house number in the next and it accepted the address and gave me access to the pattern.

I’ve tried knitting too….it’s HARD! Crochet is easy. There are lots of great tutorials on Youtube and put out feelers, there may be someone like me near you that would love to teach you.
I am going to pass this onto my sister in law. She loves to crochet! And maybe I can get her to make one of these for me!
How cute! I don’t have time to work on these this year but will definitely save for next Easter!

The crochet basket so cute. I wish I had the skill or the patience to create such beautiful knits.
These are too cute! I haven’t crocheted in forever, but I would love to do these. I don’t have much in the way of Easter decorations, so this could be cute to have to decorate the house with.
This is awesome. I love the idea of getting the kids crocheted Easter baskets. I’m not sure if I can make them myself and still have the same results! I’d like to try though.
These are just the cutest thing! I feel like a basket like this would be a great hand me down or something to treasure forever!
Those are adorable! I wish I was this talented and could make one myself. I need to share this pattern with my Mom. She always hooks me up!
