When you’re a new mom, you need things to be easy. It takes months to figure out what your baby needs and in what quantities. But those needs change a lot during her first year. It seems like it’s too easy to run out of necessities and that means an emergency run to a local store. It’s not convenient, and at that point you’ll pay any price they ask, just to get back home and get on with your life.
As if that wasn’t enough pressure on a new mom, imagine that your husband’s job requires a move from a large city with plenty of services to a small vacation town? What would you do? You could panic or pay the inflated prices at the local stores, or you can go online. That’s exactly what I did when we recently moved from a bustling Seattle suburb to scenic Winthrop, Washington. It’s a lovely town, but during the off-season, the town’s population reduces dramatically so there aren’t a lot of shopping options.
Luckily for me, there are online stores that can give me instant access to the products I need. Diapers.com is one. It’s an online store for all things baby and child with products for mom and dad as well. But what’s even more important is that they offer FREE 1-2 day delivery on all orders of $49 or more. That gives me immediate access to a wide variety of quality baby products that I can have in my home in just a few days instead of trying to find what I need in the surrounding cities.
Diapers.com – More than Just Diapers – Everything You Need for Your Little One
What kind of products can you find on Diapers.com? Well, diapers of course and diapering products. As well as toys, clothing, gear, household products, feeding supplies including food, and more. The products they offer are carefully selected by experts to provide practical items including the most wanted products for babies and toddlers.
So what did I buy? An assortment of baby gear that highlights my little girl’s current stage. She’s showing signs that she’ll be crawling very soon and I’m going to need a little help keeping her out harm’s way. I picked up the North States Industries Superyard Colorplay Gate. It’s a colorful enclosure that will provide a safe place for her to play. For bathtime, I bought the Munchkin Dandy Dots Bath Mat. She wants to sit up in the tub now, and the mat will help keep her little bottom from slipping out from under her while I bathe her. She’ll enjoy the brightly colored dots, and I’ll appreciate the helping hand in making her time in the tub safer.
I also bought two of my favorite childhood books to share with her. The first is Where the Sidewalk Ends. It’s the 30th Anniversary Edition with additional poems by the author, Shel Silverstein. The second is Madeline, by Ludwig Bemelmans. I chose the board book so she can enjoy it now. She’s fascinated by the cartoon, and this will let her hold the characters in her hands. I can’t wait to share these stories with her and let her know how much they meant to me as well.
I’m happy to have a way to keep up with my little girl’s needs in a quick and convenient manner. Check out Diapers.com and their new mom (or dad) website. You’ll find everything you need and want for your little one too!
