Disney’s newest princess, Elena, is both brave and adventurous. This teenager has already had to save Avalor, the enchanted fairytale kingdom, from the grasp of Shuriki, an evil sorceress. But that was easy compared to having to learn how to become a crown princess and eventually the queen. She learns lessons on resilience, compassion, and thoughtfulness, all traits of great leaders on her journey.
Elena of Avalor debuted on the Disney Channel in June and has already been renewed for a second season. The Latina princess is voiced by Aimee Carrero and is the most recent princess to join the royal Disney family.
Elena of Avalor: Ready to Rule will be released on DVD on December 6th, 2016 (pre-order it now for delivery on the release date – it’s a great gift for the holidays!). The DVD will include four full episodes of the show plus a projecting scepter exclusive to this combo pack.

I love everything about Disney and I can’t wait for this to come out. The girls will love to have the music and sing their hearts out!
My girls are so excited about these videos! They love Elena so much.
Oh, that’s a great news! She’s an inspiration to little girls! I love it that they released a DVD! Awesome!
im sure my daughter will love this! she loves princess!!
I am happy that Disney created Elena. This would teach kids to embrace each other’s uniqueness. My granddaughter would have a blast watching Elena and her adventures.
My niece was just telling me all about Elena of Avalor last week, I’m pretty sure that is her favorite princess in the whole world!
Oh how exciting! Elena of Avalor is so popular right now. It’s cool that people will be able to have this series on video.
I love they finally created a Latina princess for DIsney. I think my daughter would enjoy watching this show.
Elena looks lovely and like a lot of fun too. Hooray for Disney for promoting ethnic and cultural diversity!
My granddaughter loves Elena of Avalor! It is her second favorite Disney show, after Sofia the First.
I love this! I’m really excited that Elena has caught on so well. I think it’s great that Disney has made princesses for pretty much every ethnicity at this point.
I was so happy to see Elena make her debut in the Disney princess pantheon. I think it’s incredibly important for young girls of all ethnicities to have positive role models.
I really hope Elena gets a full movie. However, I’m not sure she will. That being said, she’s made a name for herself already in the princess-sphere of Disney, and I love that.
I love her series but I find it very unfair and unfortunate that Disney did not give her a movie like all the other princesses.
I agree, but their direct to home videos do very, very well. I suspect we’ll see her in a feature film in the next few years.
