Yookidoo Musical Duck Race toy sample provided; all opinions are my own.Read our Yookidoo Stack ‘N’ Spray Tub Toy Review This battery-operated tub toy by Yookidoo is entertaining for little ones and their parents too! The Musical Duck Race tub toy draws water from the tub to create an incredible water fountain which propels the adorable characters in a race around the fountain accompanied by music. Each colorful duck has its own unique spray effect when placed on the center post making it even more enjoyable.
Babies can use the leaf lever to change to one of nine random sound and water effects for endless fun.
This sweet toy trains little ones through sensory play to help them develop their fine motor skills. Mom and dad can use the fountain and ducks to demonstrate the concepts of full and empty, sink or float, and more in an entertaining and engaging way.
The toy has a 3-minute automatic shut-off feature to save batteries. The battery compartment is watertight, but they’ve made it super easy to change the batteries – just find a quarter or similar-sized object to open it. A locked/unlocked icon molded into the plastic lets you know if you’ve sealed it correctly, so there’s no worry of it filling with water.
The included base uses three suction cups to keep the fountain secured to the bottom of the tub. It’s meant to be enjoyed above the waterline, but as you can see we let the tub fill too full, and it was still fun.
The toy has a filter that needs to be cleaned every time the batteries are changed, but that’s the only maintenance required. The filter recycles the bath water helping it maintain the water level and temperature.
The Yookidoo Musical Duck Race toy is for babies ages 6 – 36 months and requires 4-AA batteries to operate which are not included.
