I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Hershey’s KISSES Deluxe. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation. #SayMore
Watch this heartwarming video of how one family was inspired to Say More to their mom in a way she’d appreciate. They were helped by the folks who make Hershey’s KISSES Deluxe Chocolates.
Did watching this family’s love for one another encourage you to Say More to someone in your life? It did me. My sister just completed treatment for breast cancer. While I’ve sent her a lot of practical gifts to get her through treatment, I haven’t really sent anything that says “INDULGE.” She deserves kudos for soldering through it all. Sure, I could jot off a quick note via Facebook, but I’m doing it the old-fashioned way. I’m going to hand her a gift and let her know how proud I am of her.
My Say More “KISSES for Beating Cancer’s Butt” Gift Tag
A little paper, glue, and a quick graphic and I have a great gift for my sister!
Got someone you’d like to congratulate on beating cancer? Save this file by right-clicking on the photo and choosing “Save As”.
Create a simple tag or spend a few minutes more and add a coordinated paper and grommet for a special presentation.
Start with a box of Hershey’s KISSES Deluxe.
Print the file on glossy white cardstock paper then trim away the white (the file prints two tags in case of errors in printing or cutting)
Cut away the corners to create a tag shape.
Choose a coordinating cardstock patterned paper.
I decided on this purple because in person it’s a fantastic match or a great monochromatic theme. Unfortunately, the colors look very differently here.
Glue the printed tag to the coordinating stock paper using a glue stick, glue, orXyron Creation Station Home sticker maker.
The Xyron Sticker Maker is the fastest and cleanest way to adhere your tag.
Remove the plastic and then peel the sticker from the sticker paper.
Position over the print cardstock and press down firmly.
Cut away the extra print paper with a paper cutter(or scissors)
Use a hole punch or add a grommet for a sturdier tag. Grommet kits are under ten dollars and they can be used on paper, fabric, and more.
Poke a hole with scissors where the grommet will go.
Using the grommet tool, pound the grommet in place.
Add tulle ribbon and tie into a bow.
Fluff the bow, sign your card, and then present your sweet gift to your favorite cancer warrior.
I’m giving her a 35-piece box of Hershey’s KISSES Deluxe Chocolates to remind her of the sweetness in life. The distinctive shape says, “I Love You” and the individually wrapped candies means she can share (only if she wants too!). These KISSES Deluxe are twice the size of regular Hershey KISSES and hidden inside is a whole roasted hazelnut surrounded by a creamy chocolate center. That means layers of textures in each bite. Plus they’re wrapped in gold foil to set them apart.
There’s a Hershey’s KISSES Deluxe size for everyone – a 3-piece bag or 4-piece paper wrapped package is the perfect stocking stuffer. A 15-piece pouch is perfect for filling a candy dish. The20-, 50-, or the 75-piece boxes are big enough to share or gift. Perfect for the office, the kids’ teachers, the postal worker, or whomever else you need to say, “thank you,” too.
Did you know that Hershey’s KISSES are the #1-holiday chocolate? It’s no surprise when you see all of the holiday baking that’s done with them. Peanut butter thumbprint cookies with a Hershey’s KISS in the center is one of my favorite Christmas Cookies. I’ve also crafted with them. As a teen, we glued wrapped KISSES to a foam wreath for an edible holiday decoration. I think we ate as many making the wreath as we had on it.
Who will you Say More to this holiday season? The simple gesture of giving is what the holidays are all about for me.
