I’m loving the new line of PLAYSKOOL Play Stow and Go toys that were created with parents in mind. These shape sorting, stacking, and discovery toys are designed to store within themselves so you’ll never have to search for pieces. Plus it makes them completely portable and easy to pop into a diaper bag for fun on the go.
It’s no surprise that PLAYSKOOL got these toys right. They used consumer feedback and insights from parents to design toys that offer time-saving solutions while traveling and at home. The toys are meant to engage little ones and encourage the development of their fine motor skills and provides sensory play in a space-saving toy that can go anywhere – to the playground, the doctor’s office, in the car, on a plane, or to grandma’s house.
PLAYSKOOL Play, Stow, Go Toys: Roll ‘n Gears Car
Each of these new PLAYSKOOL on-the-go toys are bright and fun and completely engaging to children. Our toy tester, Liam, is fourteen months old. He was enthralled by the gears inside the Playskool Roll’n Gears Car. Created for kids ages 12 months and older, it was by far his favorite toy, and he spent an hour dumping out the gears and then trying to fit them together, or onto other toys.
PLAYSKOOL Play, Stow, Go Toys: Pop-Up Shape Sorter
He also liked the PLAYSKOOL Pop-Up Shape Sorter. Liam didn’t quite grasp the idea of this sweet cat shape sorter. But that’s not surprising, he’s a little young for it. It’s meant for children ages 18 months and older, but he’ll soon be able to play with the classic shape sorter that’s been updated into a Play, Stow, Go toy. The bright orange cat with the colorful shapes collapses down into a compact little package with the cat’s tail becomes the carrying handle and the pieces store inside. It’s a great chance for kids to work on learning colors, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills.
PLAYSKOOL Play, Stow, Go Toys: Stack ‘n Stow Cups
The PLAYSKOOL Stack ‘n Stow Cups feature a sweet lion who hides a six stacking cups inside. Each has a shape cut out of the center and it can be combined with the Playskool Pop-Up Shape Sorters shapes for even more fun. Or take it into the tub for water fun. The tabs on each cup make them easy for little ones to grasp and as Liam did, play them like cymbals! Created for kids ages 9 months and older, it’s a fun toy with a lot of versatility built in. Helps children learn shapes, colors, fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
PLAYSKOOL Play, Stow, Go Toys: Fold ‘n Go Busy Elephant
I didn’t think Liam would want much to do with this adorable activity plush since it’s meant for children three months and up, but he was obsessed with the elephant’s heart. It’s just one of the many activities this elephant has hidden inside. There’s a mirror, squeaker, rattle, and more all of which folds up into its self to create a compact toy that’s machine washable.
PLAYSKOOL Play, Stow, Go Toys: Dressy Kids, Bessy
Liam wasn’t interested in finding out all of the features of Bessy, the Dressy Kids PLAYSKOOL toy. Meant for children over the age of two, Liam is too young to appreciate the dressing activities she teaches. Like learning how to zip, button, buckle, fasten, and tie. There is a male doll named Dapper Dan available as well. But Liam did love loading her up into a walker which he ran behind, crashing her into the wall, me, and anything else in the way.
