Duck Tape Create Your Own Cupcake Print To Celebrate Kids in Need Foundation & Win $5,000

Duck Tape® makes the cutest duct tape around. I can never walk through our hardware store (or Target, for that matter — this tape is everywhere!) without stopping to look at the newest designs. Chevron, animal prints, you name it, and they print it.

Now, Duck Tape is teaming up with The Kids In Need Foundation, and they need YOUR help. Until August 3, 2015, you can submit your original cupcake-themed print for consideration for a limited edition roll of Duck Tape. One winning design will be unveiled at a special gala on September 30 to honor the 20th birthday of the Kids in Need Foundation in Minneapolis, recognizing key contributors and milestones of the foundation over the past 20 years. Duck Tape is helping to sponsor the after party, where they’ll create a giant replica of the winning cupcake design out of duct tape — plus, the design will be on rolls of tape at the event and the designer will receive $5,000. Now that’s a sweet deal! (Pun intended.)

Duck Tape Cupcake Design Contest: How to Enter

Entering is easy — just download the template from the Cupcake Duck Tape Design Contest site and either hand-draw or digitally create your cupcake(s) in the space provided. Follow the tips for the best chance to win, like making sure you stay within the designated area and choose a repeatable design that will look great all over a strip of duct tape. And don’t forget, it has to be related to cupcakes! Then, you upload your application and submit your contact information — and sit back and wait for the winner to be unveiled on August 12.

Duck Tape Cupcake Design Contest: Kids in Need Foundation

Duck Tape supports the Kids in Need Foundation, an organization establish in 1995 to make sure all children are prepared and set up for success in the classroom. They work with many school supply manufacturers and retailers to obtain and deliver much-needed supplies to kids and teachers across the country, and more than 30 million people have benefited from their help over the past 20 years.

Support a great cause and get your artist hat on and submit your cupcake designs before August 3 and hopefully you’ll be a winner! You can also follow @theduckbrand and @kidsinneed on Twitter to track all the contest action and updates.
