As a first time mom I was completely overwhelmed with the process of registering for baby items. Not only was I completely unaware with the amount of “stuff” a baby could possibly need, I was shocked with the variety of options for each product. Although I was clueless about many things, I knew I wanted to have a diaper bag that was gender neutral in color (mainly so my husband wouldn’t mind toting it along). I also wanted one that contained plenty of storage spaces to hold all of that stuff my daughter would need and one that made finding items simple and organized.
I registered for what I thought was an amazing diaper bag. It had multiple pockets, was grey, and had a long strap attached so I could sling it over my shoulder giving me two hands at all times. It was expensive, which in my mind meant it had to be a quality product. I enjoyed using it for the first few months after my daughter was born until I was introduced to the Lassig Green Label Diaper Bag.
Lassig Green Label Neckline Bag
I’ve been using the Neckline Bag Denim Blue Bag for a few months now and I have loved every minute! This high quality bag has every bell and whistle you could possibly think of. In addition to the large main compartment, it has outer compartments, an interior zip pouch, multiple water-repellent wet pockets, and a baby wipe area. It also has a water-repellent changing mat, and insulated and removable bottle holder and baby food jar storage, as well as stroller hooks, a cellphone pocket, and an additional adjustable shoulder strap. Having the wide range of pockets in multiple sizes makes keeping track of items simple and organized. I really appreciate the removable features because I can choose to bring them along, or leave them at home if I don’t need them, depending on the purpose of our trip.
I love that this bag is made from recycled plastic water bottles so they’re great for the environment, but more importantly, they’re free of PVC, Phthalates, AZO, Cadmium, and Nickel. In fact all of their bags are! The design and material used to create the bag have allowed it to keep a nice shape over the time I have put it to use, keeping a stylish and high-quality look no matter how many places I drag it along.
The bag sports a dark blue denim-look on the outside with bright green interior and accents, making it fun for anyone to carry. The short straps make carrying the bag with one hand simple, while the high sides help prevent anything from falling out if you choose not to zip the bag. I like carrying the bag in a messenger-style across my body and the adjustable strap makes that possible for any body type.
This particular design comes in 6 different colors and generously sized at 16.9 x 5.5 x 16.9 inches. It’s made from 52 % Polyester, 41 % recycled Polyester, and 7 % PU. Empty it weighs 3.30 lbs so it’s on the heavy size, but that mean it’s sturdy enough to be packed full of baby goods without a worry.
I have been very impressed with my diaper bag and didn’t realize what I was missing until I had the opportunity to try out this particular model. I look forward to many more years with this bag and may even check out another Lassig model if we have another child in the future.
Lassig also has a variety of other designs to accommodate the needs of any parent. For more information on where to purchase this bag and other Lassig products, check out the HABA USA website.
