Cooking dinner each night can be an unpleasant task for anyone. After a long day, the last thing you want to do is stand in a kitchen and prepare a meal that your family will consume in a fraction of the time you spent making the food, all while creating a horrible mess in your kitchen that probably won’t get cleaned until the following day because you’re too tired to clean after making the meal. Unfortunately, we need to eat to survive so we have to get over these feelings and find ways to make meals that work with our busy schedules while still providing quality time for family, after school events, homework, and a decent bed time.
Clipso Pressure Cooker from T-Fal and the Kitchen Handy by Zabada
I was delighted to have the opportunity to check out the Clipso Pressure Cooker from T-Fal and the Kitchen Handy by Zabada. I had never used a pressure cooker before and was a bit unsure where to start. Fortunately, a simple and handy cookbook was provided with the cooker, allowing for quick meal ideas at the tip of my fingertips.
I was excited to try out the pressure cooker not only for meals for my husband and I to share, but also for the use of creating baby food for my 8 month old daughter. I began by looking up simple recipes on the internet and within the provided cookbook to see approximately how long to cook the vegetables I planned to feed my daughter. I was surprised to see an entire steam basket full of carrots only needed to be cooked for 3 minutes in the pressure cooker before being plenty soft in order to purée. The sweet potatoes pieces cooked for 8 minutes in the pressure cooker and the apple chunks only 4 minutes. With the use of the steam basket, creating delicious baby food to store for my baby was simple, quick, and only produced one pan for clean up!
The 6.3 qt Clipso has some fabulous features including a new one-hand system for opening and closing the lid and a steam release value for added safety and it’s made from durable stainless steel that’s also OK to use on induction stoves. Plus it’s dishwasher safe and includes a steam basket and the instruction book I mentioned earlier.
Cleanup couldn’t be easier with the Kitchen Handy from Zabada. It makes cleaning the pressure cooker simple without the use of chemicals. The Fiber Clean Technology tackles burnt on grease, messy cooktops and baking dishes, as well as spot-cleaning dishes, baking trays, and pots and pans- simply using water! It replaces disposable scrubber pads and microfiber cloths and has a 2-3 year life span so that’s a lot of money savings to be had! I love how durable the Kitchen Handy is, knowing I won’t have to continue to buy other tools that need frequent replacement.
