Diane Gilman makes a wide range of clothing with styles that fit every taste. But one thing many of her clothing pieces have in common is some bling. She contributes this to her time as a designer for rock n’ roll musicians over a decade ago. Now she creates styles that are casual to cocktail and pieces from sportswear to footwear.

DG2 by Diane Gilman Jeweled Button Embellished Denim Jacket
This denim jacket is available in four colors: Fuschia, Indigo, Teal, or Black and in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, 1X, 2X, and 3X. It’s very well made and the perfect weight – not to heavy, not too thin. It’s made of woven stretch denim (a blend of 54% ramie, 35% cotton, 9% polyester, and 2% spandex) and is about 24″ long so it hits in the middle of the hip (top of the hip for me).
There is plenty of bling on this jacket but thankfully since it’s tone on tone, it’s not overwhelming. It will look great on a summer night over a maxi dress or in the winter over a sweater. The front closure has faux buttons with a snap front for quick and easy dressing.
Sizing & Fit
The jacket is meant to be loose fitting, but even so, I found that it runs large (which I would have known if I’d have read the online reviews – darn it! I usually do!). I ordered my normal size and it looks sloppy in the shoulders and the arms are abnormally long – I’m 5’10” tall and rarely find this to be a problem, I would definitely have to roll the sleeves up. I’ll be returning it for a size smaller which should be perfect.
Care
Because of the faceted “jewels,” the jacket is hand-wash only in cold water and hang dry (though I will be trying the gentle cycle in my new washing machine because I’m lazy. The key is to keep the water cold so you don’t ruin the stones).

Those look great! Not too heavy for the fall, and ads a pop of color for a season that tends to cater toward neutral colors.
I have yet to upgrade my fall/winter wardrobe. This looks like it will wear nicely with some riding boots.
It’s been so long since I’ve had a denim jacket! They really can be such an everyday wardrobe staple. I love the colors and personality in these!
