I received a Noodle and Boo sample to facilitate this review; all opinions are my own.
As I am currently learning, pregnancy is full of hundreds of changes to your body. For me, my hair and nails are growing like weeds and my brain has officially shut down. At almost six months pregnant, I’m noticing other changes such as my vision blurring, my pulse racing and extremely dry and itchy skin. Oh the joys of pregnancy continue to blow me away and if I’m being honest with myself, it’s a lot harder than I thought it would be.
The last month has been marked with the biggest of changes; my body 2is looking quite round, my joints ache and I’m noticing my emotional ‘breaking point’ is much lower than expected. For this reason alone, I have started to take time out of my busy work day to relax and enjoy the pregnancy. This has come in the form of splurging on little gifts to me. For all of you pregnant women reading this, I highly recommend it; it’s making my life and my darling husband’s life a little more pleasant.
:holiday2014:
Recently I have rediscovered my love for taking baths and reading books. Pre-pregnancy I enjoyed reading but now that I am taking time to myself, I am finding that I am reading books at an incredible rate. One of the places I find myself reading more and more… the bathtub. At least twice a week, I fill the tub with warm water and take time to soak out all the stress of the day. This has become my one of my favorite things about being pregnant and one of the contributing factors to the above mentioned dry and itchy skin. To help combat this issue I have been trying out new skincare products that help with just this kind of problem.
I was given the opportunity to test out Noodle and Boo’s Heavenly Honey Wash and I find that it helps to keep my skin glowing as well as help me relax in my baths. The smell is truly heavenly; it has a sweet honey smell mixed with vanilla undertones and it is wonderful. Made with sensitive skin in mind, Noodle and Boo creates their products with no harmful ingredients that could hurt a developing baby. Ingredients are researched and time is taken to ensure their products are safe for both pregnant moms and newborns. This extra reassurance on their products makes it easy to enjoy my body wash as well as the rest of the Pregnancy Skin Care line.
As for their newborn products, my adorable niece Paisley uses Noodle and Boo’s Soothing Body Wash, I’m sure that Paisley’s little cousin will be using the same products because they are great on sensitive skin and smell truly amazing.
