I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Arla Dofino. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
We are huge snack fans in this house. Without fail, my son will ask me for “a snack” every time we hop in the car to go somewhere — and once we get where we’re going, whether it’s a play date or running errands or climbing at the park, he seems to get hungry pretty quickly once again. It’s a little tricky to come up with healthy food options (let’s be honest, the kid could live off of goldfish crackers if I let him) so I try to find foods that are better for him — and if I like to eat them too, it’s even better!
Arla Dofino Cheese: Naturally Good
So, we were excited to try Arla Dofino cheese for this blog campaign. Arla cheeses are naturally good, free from added hormones and full of natural ingredients; in fact, the ingredient list is literally just a couple of items — . So nice to see that! This cheese has been made by trained cheesemakers in Kaukauna, Wisconsin for more than 100 years, working side by side with local farmers to ensure they use the highest quality milk from non-rBST-treated cows.
We picked up some Arla Dofino Havarti Cheese to bring to a playdate with friends this week. I sliced it up a few minutes before the kids turned into hungry animals, and my fellow mom-friend and I scarfed a bunch down before the kids even knew what was going on! This cheese is goooood — so buttery and soft, perfect with crackers or in a sandwich. We made little cracker sandwiches for the kids and they loved it too; it felt a little fancier than our normal snacks. We tried Creamy and Smoked — both were delicious, but I think the smoked flavor will be delicious in a panini sandwich. Obviously my little superhero was a fan!
We can’t wait to try more of the havarti flavors — my husband is dying to try the jalapeno version. Give it a try for your next playdate — I promise you’ll feel more sophisticated if you serve Arla Dofino over goldfish crackers.
Have you tried the Arla Dofino cheeses?
