I work two jobs and I never seem to have time for breakfast. My wife often fills the freezer with breakfast sandwiches I can heat and eat, but her schedule is so busy that sometimes the freezer is empty. Quaker Breakfast Shakes – Taste Test
I tried the vanilla flavored shake first and really enjoyed it. Since I don’t normally like strawberry I didn’t want to try it. But I did and found that it actually liked it better than the vanilla.
The shakes are the consistency of flavored milk and not a smoothie which is a better fit for my taste buds. They have only 200 calories so I drink one on the way out the door and another for a mid-morning snack. I find it’s the perfect amount of fuel to get me through my morning.

Here’s what I found out about the Quaker Breakfast Shakes. They come in three flavors including vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate and each contains 10 grams of protein, 8 grams of whole grains, and 6 grams of fiber. They have 5g of fat per serving and a total of 200 calories.
Would I eat them every day? No. That’s because my wife won’t let me. She’ll tap the bottle and point out all the ingredients that she’d rather I not eat, but the way I figure it, it’s OK to eat what I like within moderation. That makes her happy, which means I’m happy.
