Chewbeads provided product to facilitate this review, but all opinions are 100% mine.

My baby is seven months old now and puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. Literally. Yesterday I found him chewing on the edge of a stair in our home. He also loves to munch paper, shoes, candy wrappers, and anything else he can get his tiny paws on. One of his favorite places to find new chew toys is my jewelry box. Any time I wear dangly earrings, a necklace, or a bracelet — I can guarantee I won’t wear it more than three minutes without having to remove it from a baby attack.

Enter Chewbeads. The concept behind this company is genius — stylish, chic jewelry made from 100% silicone, making it safe for babies to chew, tug on or play with. They’re soft for baby’s gums and emerging teeth, plus non-toxic, BPA- and phthalate-free, and even dishwasher safe!

I love all the colors of Chewbeads — they’re cute and hip enough to look good with any outfit, with the added benefit of having a safe baby chew toy on you at all times. Chewbeads now also offers a wide selection of products including bracelets, rattles and teethers, and even a line of jewelry for kids in addition to the original necklaces.

The ONLY thing I didn’t love about Chewbeads was that they pull my hair. I have long hair and the silicone material ended up tugging it throughout the day, especially when my baby yanked on the necklace. Unless I have my hair up, I might stick to wearing the cute and colorful bracelets for a while.

Chewbeads are available for purchase in their online shop and in a variety of specialty stores around the country. Be sure to follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest for all the latest Chewbeads news and baby-friendly inspiration.
