I participated in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Alcon. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating
Eyes have been said to be the window to the soul. They’re also one very important way we connect to the world around us and that’s why we should take every precaution to save our sight and the sight of others.
But not everyone has the luxury of good eyesight so Alcon partnered with THE eyeSOLUTION™ to promote the #EyeSawGood campaign. It’s a way to let us help them provide eye exams and glasses for children in need though Kids Vision for Life. Getting involved is so simple! All you have to do is tweet a picture on Twitter of something you deem “good.” It can be anything that makes you happy, feel good, smile, etc. When you tweet it, include the hashtag #EyeSawGood.
For every picture shared with that special hashtag, Alcon will donate $1 (up to $50,000) which will go towards funding more than 1,000 eye exams and glasses for children.
I’m working on keeping my sight as long as I can and I’m happy to help others see better too, we I’ll be tweeting a few of my favorite “good” pics. It’s the least I can do to support kids and their families this holiday season.
This bird picture is one of my favorites. First because it rarely snows here, but it did yesterday for just a few hours, and because I love these little Junco birds. They sit in the branches and look at us expectantly for food. It’s like they’re talking to us with their eyes.
Will you help? What will you tweet?
