Accommodations at the Henry Hotel Dearborn, travel, and other consideration provided by Ford; all opinions are my own. #FordIn2014
Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting Michigan for the first time. I was in Dearborn for The Ford Motor Company’s annual North American news briefing and trend report, and spent two nights at The Henry Hotel. The Henry has been voted the #1 hotel in Michigan, and I can see why: beautifully designed and filled with art, this hotel is a treat for the eyes.
The aesthetically pleasing theme continues at The Henry’s TRIA Restaurant, which serves beautiful desserts and delicious meals. It’s also the first restaurant I’ve been to that utilized tablet menus. It made an enjoyable setting for dining and was a convenient place to relax and grab drinks with colleagues after we were done with the day’s events.
Henry Hotel Dearborn: Staff
Everyone I encountered at The Henry was incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and beautiful, and the food was delicious. I honestly have no complaints! In the interest of full disclosure, I will mention that I noticed a stray hair or two on the sheets but was not bothered enough to ask anyone to change them. The only request I had for the staff was to use the safe in the lobby, since my room was apparently missing one, and they were extremely nice and helpful with that as they were with everything else. I left my laptop in the safe for the day so that I wouldn’t have extra weight to lug around in my bag, so my shoulders thank you profusely, Henry staff!
This was a great experience for my first visit to the state, and I would absolutely stay at The Henry Hotel again.
