I participated in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting (#MC) on behalf of Konica Minolta. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating
In the dark of night, a magical box is place within a park in New York. It’s soon discovered by kids who are attracted to the blinking lights and bright graphics. On the printer is a sheaf of paper and some markers with the request to tell the printer their dream.
As kids line up and print out what they want to be when they grow up, they’re rewarded with a caricature of themselves, as an adult, doing the job they dream of. Touching? You bet. Bring a tear to my eye? Absolutely.

Dream Printer – Children’s Dreams Come to Life
This brilliant dream printer video was the brainchild of Konica Minolta, an industry leader in Business Technologies, as party of their “Giving Shape to Ideas” initiative. They created the “Dream Printer” to encourage kids to use their imagination and dream big.
What a magical way for kids to dream about their future. My own kids are adults now but we talked with them often about their dreams. Sure, neither of them are astronauts, race car drivers, or any of the other things they wished for as young children, but the time spent imagining themselves in these positions is priceless. So many serious discussions on long family drives about gravity, space suit designs and astronaut food, and more.
Check out the adorable video above and talk to your kids about their hopes and dreams. Share the video with your friends and family – I’m sure they’ll smile as I did at the joy on these young faces when they’re presented with a little magic in the middle of a park.
