I’m not supposed to chew gum. I have a jaw malformation and gum makes it worse. But I love gum. I should say I love good gum. So what’s good gum? One that’s naturally flavored, has no chemicals, and is aspartame-free. If you’ve checked the grocery store shelves lately you’ll know that I’m asking a lot. Most every gum on the market is full of chemicals and really isn’t safe for kids and moms.
PUR Gum – Natural and Delicious
I’ve had one favorite gum I chew when I do, but recently I was introduced to PÜR Gum. PÜR Gum is vegan, gluten-free, non-gmo, nut-free, diabetic friendly and dairy free. It’s aspartame-free and sweetened with Xylitol. If Xylitol sounds familiar, it’s because it’s been in the news a lot over the last year. Xylitol has been touted as helping to prevent tooth decay and it’s natural. Does it and is it? How would I know, I’m not a scientist, but what I do know is that I love the flavors. They’re pure and simple and taste real to me and they never add any artificial color – that’s all I need to know it’s right for me (read the science behind PUR here).
