After my second son was born earlier this year, I started remembering how fun it is to have a new baby in the house. They grow and change so fast, and it feels like we’re always celebrating something new. When my mom calls, she always asks “What is Hudson’s latest trick?” — because with a new baby, there’s bound to be some new development every week.

He’s only five months old, so we still have a lot of “firsts” to come, but just last week he became an expert at rolling over. He’d done it a few times before, but now he is a pro and will roll from his back to his tummy every time I lay him down. We clap and cheer each time, and my older son always says, “I’m so proud of you!” It’s so fun and such a cute way to bring our family together.
