I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for OshKosh B’gosh. I received a gift card to facilitate my shopping trip and to thank me for participating.
Keeping my two ever-growing boys in stylish, affordable clothing can be a chore sometimes — I feel like I just grab whatever’s on the nearest rack at Target or H&M and don’t think about it much more than that. Those clothes also don’t hold up particularly well through a bunch of washes, so I end up needing to replace them frequently too. Do you get stuck in the same shopping rut?
Because of this, I’m always happy to discover new places to shop that will provide me with good quality clothes for a decent price, and I recently found just that at OshKosh B’gosh. Our local store isn’t on my usual errand route so I tend to forget about it, but I will ignore it no more — I LOVE their clothes! Of course, this should be no surprise to me, since apparently I’ve been a fan for more than 20 years. Here’s me in my awesome OshKosh purple overalls, circa 1986:
Shopping at OshKosh B’gosh this past week was a dream. Everything pictured in the collage up top was purchased that day! They had a little table with blocks and Legos in the middle of the store, so my three year old was happily entertained while I shopped in peace. The store had TONS of cute clothes, hats, shoes, accessories for girls AND boys — which is always a win for this mama of two sons. (Don’t get me started on the disparity of how many more cute clothes are out there for girls instead of boys — we have to work so much harder to shop!) I loved that they had a wide range of sizes for every item, from 6 mo. to size 12, and clothes for every occasion — casual play clothes, dressy church clothes, even warm jackets and snow gear. Check out their holiday mailer to see this year’s fabulous styles.
Best of all, it fit my budget. I shopped at an outlet so most of the clothes were marked down at least 50%, but OshKosh has great sales going on all the time. These clothes are well-made and cute — stylish for the current trends (hello, chambray shirts and bright plaid!) but classic enough that I know they can be used in the future (and they WILL, because they don’t fall apart!). Talk about stretching your dollar — I was able to get the down jacket (pictured above on my preschooler) and all of this for less than $100:
