Dove Clear Tone Deodorant Test - #MC sponsored

A few weeks ago I shared a new deodorant by Dove that does more than just inhibit odor and wetness. New Dove Clear Tone also works to moisturize your underarm area which can reduce the irritation of shaving.

It turns out that when you shave, you lose about 50% of your skin’s moisture and that’s one of the reason you get the red bumps and itchiness. Dove Clear Tone works to prevent that. It’s got Calendula and Sunflower Seen Extracts to counter the drying process of shaving. Plus it’s still a traditional deodorant and anti-perspirant keeping most women dry and odor free for up to 48 hours.

Does Dove Clear Tone Work ?

I’m not a fan of scented products so that was a miss for me although the two scents were pleasant. It’s just a personal preference and I’m probably in the minority when it comes to choosing unscented products. I’d rather the perfume I choose speak for me instead of my underarms. Plus it didn’t keep me moisture or odor-free. Evidently I still need their clinical strength version which I’ve been using for about a year now. It works beautifully for me. However, it did moisturize exactly like it claims and I did enjoy having some great looking underarms – yes, only I saw them, but not having itchy underarms after shaving is a huge plus.

My Recommendations

Try Dove Clear Tone if you’re bothered by razor irritation. I now use it on the days I’m at home and switch to the clinical strength when I go out. It’s a great way to get everything I need.

Dove Clear Tone is available at drugstores nationwide and online at stores like Amazon.com and Drugstore.com. You can find more information at Dove.com as well as on their social media sites –  Facebook and Twitter.
