I received green sprouts product to facilitate this review, but all opinions are 100% mine.
Bath time is a struggle at my house. My three-year-old is NOT a fan of the tub, so every night we have to bribe and cajole him into taking a bath. Whenever I can introduce a new toy or bath accessory, it usually helps perk him up and we see less struggle. I was thrilled to check out the green sprouts Sea Friends Bath Toy5-pack — five cute little ocean creatures, made from PVC- and Formamide-free materials.
green sprouts: Pure Bathtime Fun with i-play
My son was instantly excited about the little bath friends, and even more delighted when he figured out he could stick them to the tub wall and they’d stay put. I was excited that they’re made from eco-friendly materials, especially since baby brother will most likely be putting these guys into his mouth ASAP and I prefer he doesn’t suck on nasty toxic plastic. I have decent peace of mind with these toys, since, according to the green sprouts website, they’re “healthy, safe and promote a strong immune system.”
Bath toys are only one tiny part of the i play Inc. lineup, which includes green sprouts bath toys — they also offer swimwear, footwear, organic clothing, feeding and baby care accessories, and plenty of toys, rattles and teethers.
I love the whole mission behind i play and green sprouts, sister companies run by a mother-daughter team. i play focuses on protecting babies and young children from the outside, with colorful designs and safe and convenient features that encourage healthy lifestyles through play. green sprouts, on the other hand, protects babies on the inside by avoiding potentially harmful substances — all green sprouts products are free from PVC, BPA and formamide. All products undergo extensive testing and conform to all US ASTM, FDA and CPSIA standards; products are designed in Asheville, North Carolina, and the ownership team works closely with its factories in China, Taiwan, Thailand and Korea to ensure product, environmental and social standards.
