Natracare has provided the gift pack for giveaway; however, we’ve received no compensation for hosting this giveaway.
There are so many chemicals we put on ourselves every day and sometimes I wonder why. Is it really necessary? Especially in sensitive areas. It’s time to start thinking about moving away from them and going back to more natural products that work with our bodies instead of against it.
I discovered Natracare about a year ago when I realized that I was having reactions to traditional feminine protection products. What I discovered is that “traditional” feminine care products are not required to list their ingredients on their packaging and one of the most common ingredients is chlorine. I don’t know about you, but I don’t care if my panty liner is pure white – I’d rather have it be chlorine-free so that my skin, which is our body’s largest organ, isn’t assaulted by unnecessary chemicals.
While this may fall under the too much information category, the sensitivity I was suffering from that made me seek out a natural feminine protection product was dry itchy skin and open sores which went away when I stopped using the bleached products. Perhaps it was because I was in peri-menopause where it’s quite common for skin to become more sensitive, or maybe it’s from using the bleached products for 30 years; either way, as soon as I switched to Natracare I noticed a huge difference.
Natural Feminine Protection – 100% Organic Products
Natracare’s products are made from high quality certified 100% organic, GMO-free cotton, free of harmful residuals from pesticide sprays and chlorine bleaches and never contain synthetic materials.
Because we don’t know for sure what exposing ourselves to chemicals every month can do to us, it’s time to move to something we know isn’t going to harm us. Make the switch – I think you’ll find these are affordable. I purchased mine from Amazon.com but they’re also available at many drug and grocery stores.
Because I believe so much in Natracare’s product, I’ve written this post for free and I’m hosting a giveaway for one of you to experience these better-for-you feminine products. It’s the least I can do to help other women discover a healthier way to deal with periods.

i wasn’t aware but now that i am i have to do something!
I had not really thought about it, but I’ll have to learn more about it.
I honestly had not thought about it. It is scary to put chemicals in/near very sensitive areas of our bodiesm
I was not aware of the extent of chemicals, no.
No I didn’t know there are dangerous chemicals. Makes me rethink what I am using.
I have become aware of all of the junk they allow in our feminine products over the last few years, and like you have had a reaction. 🙁 I now try to purchase only the good stuff!
I had no idea there were. I had heard of TSS and got worried in the past but thought to myself that I did not have a choice but to use them. Thank you for the review, I am gonna give these a shot

No I wasn’t aware.
I have been using organic cloth pads for years because of the dangers of conventional feminine products. It is wonderful that there are companies out there addressing this issue.

I wasn’t aware of dangerous chemicals in feminine care.
I didn’t know about the chlorine! That’s so crazy. Good to know!
Yes, I had a diva cup for that reason, but it was inconvenient to use in public restrooms.
I was not aware but i have been looking into getting diva cup.
I haven’t considered it.
I have heard about the icky things in feminine products. I think it’s yucky, but it’s hard to find natural alternatives, plus they are usually more expensive.
Yes! All the toxins irritated my um… walls. It always left me uncomfortable and I could never use them. That goes for pads too, it just very irritating to my skin! Not cool! Im always getting products like this, its a lifesaver!
Yikes! I had no idea! It’s pretty disturbing.
I was not aware of them and would love to try natural products
Was not aware but very happy in learning about it…..
Yes, I was aware, I use a Diva cup. 🙂

I didn’t know, but it does not surprise me.
I wasn’t, it’s a scary thing.
I was not aware and must admit did not even think about bad products…..now I know and I can talk to my daughters about it as well
I have not been aware, but i have had issues with scented products in the past!
Thank you for the chance to win
sadly, i have never realized that before. but now to think about harmful chemicals around our most sensitive areas is really scary. big name companies dont care they are only there to make money.
Not entering, just here to say: Thank you, Jesus! that I don’t need to worry about this problem anymore! LOL!
Giggle…me either 😉 It appears I may have passed the year mark to say I’m menopausal…but I’m so bad at keeping track.
I am aware of dangerous chemicals in feminine care and also in a lot of other products. I try to buy items as natural as I can and I do stay away from scented items. I do not like scents at all in products.
No, but I have experienced discomfort whenever I used scented pads. It’s disturbing, can’t help but wonder if these companies care about women beyond their pocketbooks.
Definitely avoid scented ones. I don’t know what they’re thinking.
I know what they’re thinking: $$$$ You think they care about us past our wallets? Remember that FDS spray that gave everyone rashes? These companies that put out scented products for….delicate areas…are run by men! Think they sell scented jock straps? LOL!
Ok, the scented jock strap made me giggle 🙂
A NEW COMMERCIAL: OPEN: We see 2 men in a locker room at the gym, post-shower, wearing towels. They are getting dressed. One is black, the other white:
RASHEED: Tony, did you ever get that….not so fresh feeling?
TONY: I had that problem, bro……my wife didn’t want to give me…well, you know.
RASHEED: That’s the thing! My girl won’t go there. I think I have a masculine odor problem.
(Clearly, these are 2 unabashedly heterosexual men. There is a palpable feel of testosterone in the air. And lest we doubt their preferences, we have heard references to a wife and girlfriend)
TONY: (reaching into locker) Here, Rasheed…this worked for me! it’s new and improved MDS…Masculine Deodorant Spray… in Mighty Oak.
RASHEED: And this did the trick?
TONY: I’ll say! Just a couple of squirts on my jockstrap, and I’m smelling fresh all day and all night. Now I always get, well you know!
(Camera pans to 2 other men dressing, who are eavesdropping. Their heterosexuality is not so clearly defined. It may be that we can tell from “a man’s carriage and demeanor which side his bread is buttered on” as Olympia Dukakis says in Steel Magnolias. Of man is Asian, the other an Orthodox Jew. They whisper, “Is THAT the problem”?)
RASHEED: That’s great, Tony! Thanks! I think this will solve my problem!!
….Fade out….
In 30 short seconds, we are made aware that “masculine odor” cuts across all lines of sexual preference, religion, and ethnicity. In other words: Guys, you ALL stink! Without MDS, you’ll never get any…well, you know!
OMG, that made me giggle.
