When my son got married in August we knew it was going to be a small affair. Only 50 or so of their closest friends and family, but we wanted to be sure that there were photos taken for those not in attendance. Plus, there’s only one chance to capture the wedding day, so though we considered having someone in the family take photos, we also knew we didn’t have the expertise or the patience to make it work.
Affordable Wedding Photography
We looked for a local photographer that was affordable but also someone who could take advantage of the unique wedding locale. My son was married in a State Park with some amazing natural areas that could be featured in the photos. We also had some lighting challenges. The wedding would be outdoors with no available lighting and the reception deep in the forest with little natural light. As it turns out, the day was overcast with light rain.
The Bride contracted with Elle.Em Photography. Though the Leslie is a self-taught photographer, I loved the photos that she took of the Bride and Groom and found her and her assistant to be incredibly professional. They both handled the family photographs with grace and were able to manage the large group with ease. They traveled to the remote location arriving on time and doing an incredible job.
The photos are a great way to recap a wonderful day. Special thanks to Elle.Em Photography for taking some stunning photos of my son and his new bride. I’ve made them a photo book and will be making two more for the grandparents. These are photos I’m proud to share.
Check ou Elle.Em Photography’s online portfolio. My favorite are the Seattle skyline shots as well as the Marysville Tulip Fields. You’ll also find my son and his beautiful bride there.
