Fall is a fabulous time to head to the theatre and that has never been truer than this year when Seattle’s Paramount Theatre stages the first North American tour of “The Wizard of Oz.” It runs October 9th through 13th as part of the KeyBank Broadway at The Paramount series.

This new stage adaptation stars Danielle Wade as Dorothy. She won the role via the CBC TV reality show “Over the Rainbow.” But this isn’t her first time on stage. Her credits include: Janet (The Drowsy Chaperone) Edinburgh Festival, Elle Woods (Legally Blonde), and Cinderella (Into the Woods) for WLMT. Love.

The classic MGM screenplay has been reworked for the stage and includes all of the beloved songs from the film as well as new songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.
