Samsung AllShare Play is in the process of being rebranded as Samsung Link. Its purpose is to share your content across your devices. Since I’m currently using a Samsung phone and I have two Samsung wi-fi cameras, this is a feature I’m loving. It lets me access my photos from any of my connected devices from the others.
I have my Samsung Link attached to my SkyDrive account so all of my photos, documents, music, and videos are available to me via the Samsung Link site as well as my SkyDrive. Plus I can access any photo, document, video, or music I’ve got on any one of my connected devices. If I had a Samsung Smart TV, I could access them there, too.
Samsung Link Introduction – what is it and why use it?
To sign up for Samsung Link, go to http://link.samsung.com/ and click on the “Don’t you have a Samsung account?” Once you have an account, you’ll be prompted to download the Samsung Link software to your computer. Then you add your mobile devices and designate your storage area (mine is SkyDrive but there are others available).

Samsung Link Dashboard View
I can see all of my connected devices and view the documents, photos, videos, and more from each of them. I can also delete, move, and play from the dashboard any file. Plus since I have my SkyDrive shortcut on my laptop computer, I can access any photo, video, or file I’ve shared there on my laptop instantly! I can’t tell you just how fabulous it is to take a picture and have it appear on every device simultaneously!
