I found these fabulous 4th of July crafts, home decor, and recipes from around the Internet that I thought were cute or clever. Sadly, we no longer decorate for the holiday since our kids have grown and gone. I miss the days the house was decked out in festive decorations like these.
4th of July – Patriotic Craft & Recipe Roundup
A few Ball Mason Jars some acrylic paint (Americana Snow White, Primary Blue, and True Red) and a little sanding and Linda at ItAllStatedwithPaint.com created these fun jars for the 4th of July. Unfortunately, the website is gone now, but creating these jars are pretty straight forward – use painter’s tape to mark off the stripes and star stickers as a stencil – paint the entire jar white, let it dry. Stick star stickers on the painted jar and paint a coat of blue over the entire surface. Carefully remove the star stickers before it’s completely dry.
