It’s time to dig through your drawers and closets for everything red, white, and blue! You likely have many pieces that would work to pull off the patriotic look.In addition to the traditional colors, polka dots, stripes, and stars are perennial favorites. But what if you need a few new pieces to freshen the look? Check out these fabulous 4th of July-inspired fashions! You’ll notice many of them are ELLE and LC because they’re both hot right now. Theses are pieces which will look great all summer, long after the fireworks have faded away.My favorite? The Sammy Tote. I love the color! Plus it’s the perfect size and in Seattle it’d be a great 3-season purse taking my right into fall. I also like the maxi for the ultimate in comfort and casual dressing. It’s  perfect for the beach but would take you right to dinner and into the evening with a cardigan. And summer wouldn’t be complete without a great pair of sunglasses. I miss the days before bifocals when I could wear non-prescription, fashion sunglasses. While I’m not a fan of most oversized sunglasses, they remind me of the It’s a Bug’s Life 3D glasses at Disneyland, these by LC are understated and fun. What will you be wearing for the holiday? Whatever it is, be safe, have fun, and Happy Birthday America!
