dio - a new creative social sharing experience

It seems like I’m always looking for a way to share my photos with others. Sure, there’s my blog, but sometimes I have many more photos that I put into a post. I edit for content, size, etc., but I want to make those photos available to friends and family.

Then I sometimes need a spot to share random bits of information – links to products I love, directions for projects I want to complete, and video tutorials I want to watch. Sure, there are some popular content curation and sharing sites out there, but none of them give me complete control over my content, how it’s shared, and how it’s put together; until now.

dio – A Creative and Social Experience

I’ve been introduced to a new “creative and social experience” which lets me put together my information, saved for myself or to share with others, in one convenient place. But instead of trying to describe what dio is, I thought I’d show you.

My crochet dio – a place to store all of my videos, links, and photos associated with my hobby

dio lets me place video, text, pictures, and more on the web. Here’s a crochet dio I put together with projects I’ve completed, ones I want to do, tutorial videos I want to reference again, and links to the yarns I’ve been using. I have this information all over my blog, but none of it is in one convenient place. Now when I add a new resource, I head to dio and update my place.

I also put together a travel dio to share my Monsters University trip earlier this month to Pixar. It’s got my class schedule, pictures from the trip, and I can add a map and other interactive assets.
