Our 1970's Master Bathroom Flooring....nauseating

Our 1970’s Master Bathroom Flooring….nauseating

I’ve been in bed since Sunday ill with some kind of virus. Being sick is no fun, but being nauseous while looking at the most hideous floor ever is even worse!

We’ve been working on our master bedroom DIY renovation for some time and have replaced the floor with laminate, but the 1970’s blue and beige floor is still in the master bath and every time I look at it I’m reminded we have more to do.

As soon as I feel better and we have a few minutes to think about it, I’m going to be looking for some low price flooring options. I already know that we’re going to be looking at porcelain, ceramic, stone, tile, wood and laminate as options. But we’ll be looking at the tile and stone more likely as that’s what we did when we upgraded our main bathroom flooring and we love it. While we like wood and laminate, they’re just not right for us in the bathroom – we can’t seem to keep the water in the shower where it belongs!

One of the places I’ll be checking out is the Floor and Décor store. They’ve got the best selection in tiles and I’m definitely going to compare them price wise with local stores. One of my major complaints when choosing tile for our main bath was the lack of options, colors, and size. I think the Floor and Décor Outlet store may be the answer.
