I love Maya Angelou. She’s a sage that speaks to my heart. She speaks about being a better person, about connecting with others, and about doing good.

The quote above is one of my favorites. It reminds me that humans get upset about stupid things; especially us Americans.  There are much bigger issues in the world so these minor annoyances are just an exercise in patience. It makes life so much easier when I look at the big picture.

If you haven’t read any of Angelou’s books, make the time and try one. My favorite is, “[amazon_textlink asin=’0349005990′ text=’I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings‘ template=’ProductLink’ store=’associateslinkbuilderplugin-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’a378b779-0ca3-11e8-993b-77fa65c34992′].” That one speaks to my own life experiences and helped me realize the value in just moving on. You may find one of her other books a better fit; but I think you’ll find them all a rewarding read.
