I love Maya Angelou. She’s a sage that speaks to my heart. She speaks about being a better person, about connecting with others, and about doing good.
The quote above is one of my favorites. It reminds me that humans get upset about stupid things; especially us Americans. There are much bigger issues in the world so these minor annoyances are just an exercise in patience. It makes life so much easier when I look at the big picture.
If you haven’t read any of Angelou’s books, make the time and try one. You may find one of her other books a better fit; but I think you’ll find them all a rewarding read.
