What’s a Miche Bag and where can I get one?
I’m a fan of the convertible bags made by Miche, and I love that you can change the look of the bag in just a few minute without removing anything from the inside. They’ve been around for five years now, and you can purchase the Miche bag online. I’ve checked out the quality of the bags, and they’re well made.
Miche Bags = Quick Change Artists!
Haven’t heard of Miche? Then you’re missing out! They’re bags which consist of a base bag, and then you add shells to the base to change the look of it. The shell is attached to the base bag by strong magnets. Shells and bases are reasonably priced and based on the size, fabric, and style. Patterns range from plaids to animal prints, and more in sizes from a small shoulder bag to a large carryall bag.
There are four base bags (Petite, Classic, Demi, and Prima) which range in price from $20 to $45 and come in colors including white, tan, and black. You choose your base style and then purchase the shells. Shells run in about the same price range, so a complete bag starts at about $45. The shells store flat so they take up almost no room in your closet and you can switch them out anytime.
The Prima bag is the perfect size for a diaper bag (with his and her shells!), a camera bag, or a great carryall bag for any occasion. A black shell makes it dressy enough for work, and a fun outer shell with backpack straps gets you out in the wild and ready for any adventure. That’s the beauty of the Miche bags – one basic inside bag and endless outside designs.
