Poland’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is located in Warsaw. An honor guard stands at attention and an eternal flame burns to remember those lost to war. The honor guard has been in place at the tomb since 1925 with the exception of the years the city was occupied by Germany. Like the infamous changing of the guard in the UK, there is a ceremonial changing several times a day.
