Puppies vs Babies? There's Still Time to Chime In!

Sure, all babies are cute, they’re designed that way so we won’t eat them, but there’s a huge benefit to puppies. They don’t get suspended from school, date the wrong girls, sneak out of the house to hang with friends, and they don’t do the most horrible things human babies do……they don’t grow up and move out! Dogs stay your baby for life. They greet you at the door like it’s the first time, every time. They’re never embarrassed to kiss you in public, nor in front their friends. They actually beg to be seen in public with you and don’t care if it’s the park or the mall, as long as they’re with you.

Puppies eat whatever you give them and they like it. They have easily identifiable needs and they are happy if you throw them a bone. They don’t need much – a bed, a toy or two, and love. They certainly don’t need the latest fashions, a fast car, or a college degree. And they don’t expect you to leave them your family fortune nor will they ask you to cosign for a new car, one that’s 15-years newer than your own. And they won’t ask if they can move back in because they never move out. There always here, snoozing at your side, waiting to see what you’d like to do for the day and they’re ready in an instant if you decide to go out and have some fun.

So yes, puppies rule and babies drool…..and need diaper changes, late night feeding……making them infinitely less attractive. Especially when they come home with a tramp stamp or worse, a girlfriend with a tramp stamp. People should have puppies, they’re in it for the long haul.
