My sister Judy trying out some flipflop Moscato wine

My sister Judy trying out some flipflop Moscato wine

I thought I didn’t like wine.  It turns out I just wasn’t drinking a wine I liked.  That all changed when I discovered flipflop Wines’ Moscato wine.  Turns out I’m a Moscato Mom!  I had no idea that the super dry wines my hubby likes were just not my thing.  I thought all wines tasted like that and never branched out to try anything else.  We tried out the Moscato on a family game night – that’s my sister taking a sip and displaying the bottle. She wasn’t a huge fan, but again she’s a dry wine drinker like the hubby.

I love that flipflop Wines has seven varieties (Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Moscato, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Pinot Noir), so there’s one for everyone’s taste.  And I also love that they are not only inexpensive and they taste great, but the company gives back a portion of their profits by supporting a wonderful charity – Soles4Souls. And they encourage others to donate as well.

In fact, right now they have a “flippin’ good deeds” program (Complete Official Rules).  To participate, collect as many new and gently used shoes as you can and blog about your experiences from now until November 15, 2011  and one lucky winner will  win a trip for two on one of the Soles4Souls international distribution trips!

Not able to make the trip but still want to help?  For every bottle of flipflop wine purchased, the company donates a pair of shoes to Soles4Souls – up to 100,000 pairs the first year. But you can also donate directly to Soles4Souls. For every dollar donated, one pair of shoes is provided for someone in need.
