I got the chance to shop at Sam’s Club this week. On my list – new glasses, groceries, and Member’s Mark 4X Probiotics. Why? I smashed my glasses while in LA…oh you mean why the probiotics? Because I’ve been reading rave reviews by other bloggers about how fabulous they look and feel after taking them. Probiotcs have been in the news a lot lately and I know they’re good for your gut and that they can be killed off by anti-biotics, but I feel like I’m in pretty good shape. I don’t have any stomach problems and I eat yogurt, but still, there’s always room for improvement.
So here’s my shop with my thoughts about what else I found at Sam’s Club like their Christmas decor and gifts department – lots of princess this year and lots of imaginative and creative play. I also did buy glasses thanks to the great help of the optical department person.

So what do I think of the Member’s Mark 4X Probiotics? They’re priced right at $29 for a three month supply but they get an F for packaging – way too much is used, but an A for convenience (they’re packaged in 7-day packages and labeled with the day of the week), so they have a C average for me.
The pills are average size and easy to swallow with no coating on them which I like. They do contain stearic acid which generally is not vegetarian, as it can come from animal or vegetable sources, and being a vegetarian I have some issues with that, but I agreed to try them so I’m going to stick it out and hope for the best. If I find they’re immensely helpful I’ll switch to a vegetarian brand. I should have checked the ingredients first, but who would think there would be a beef product in them?
Next week I’ll check back in and let you know if I see any health benefits from using them. If you’d like to see more of my shop you can visit My This Moment Digestive Health spot.
