I love this quote. It reminds me every day how lucky I am. The husband and I, pictured above this last weekend at EastSound, Orcas Island, will be celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary in a few months. We still really like each other and enjoy each others company…and I do believe that until you can say that you’d rather be with someone in the worst place than without them in the best, you haven’t found the right person.
Our niece got married this weekend and we hope for her and her husband many years of happiness. Life is too short not to be with the one who lets you be yourself no matter how you change and grow during your years together.

I love that Mark Twain quote.
It’s such a simple quote but sums up how I feel about marriage. 🙂
