affreshheroI’ve been using the Affresh® Stainless Steel Cleaner for a few weeks now (read: Affresh Review: Keep Your Stainless Steel Appliances Clean) and while it wasn’t able to remove the water damage on my dishwasher (to be fair, I don’t know of any cleaner that will), it works on my 30-year old stainless steel sink beautifully!  Not only does it bring back its shine, I love the way it feels after I clean it.  It’s hard to describe, but it feels softer…perhaps slicker..and the water runs off and doesn’t leave water spots.  I love that.

I also use it on my chrome, although I don’t believe it’s supposed to be used that way, and it works great.  I love that I can use one cleaner for the sink, the faucet and the surrounding counter.

Using the Affresh® Stainless Steel Cleaner is easy – spray the area to be cleaned.  Allow the cleaner to sit for a few moments (up to a few minutes for heavy soil) and then wipe clean.  I finish by giving it a buff with a clean, dry cloth for the ultimate shine.  I found cloth works best – paper towels left my appliances streaky.  I sometimes clean with paper towels and then buff with cloth.

I still love the fragrance, I believe it’s apricots, but it smells like peaches to me.  The scent doesn’t last long, but that’s ok.  It’s there while I’m cleaning and I’ll admit, it makes it a little more enjoyable…I avoid most scents, but this one doesn’t come unscented.  I’ve enjoyed my trial of the cleaner and will certainly reconsider my anti-stainless steel stance for appliances. Since all most of ours were purchased when we bought our house in 1988, I’m sure we’ll be replacing some of them soon.
