I wasn’t able to access the site all day today because my new webserver company decided that my inability to remember my login was an attack on the site…..so they locked me out. Only they didn’t tell me and it took them almost 24 hours to figure out why everyone else could see and access the site but me. Seriously. Anyway, because I want to get something up so you all know I’m still alive after my landmark birthday yesterday, I thought I’d show you what I did to celebrate it.
No, that’s not me next to the brand new car, I drive a 1995 minivan. That’s my first born, Brian, standing next to his very first brand-new car and does he look happy? Ya betcha! He’s named her even. Yep, he’s in love. That’s what I did for my 50th birthday – went car shopping with the kid. Actually, it was a lot of fun and I doubt we’ll ever forget what we did that day.
Special thanks to Bruce at Lithia Hyundai of Renton for making what’s normally a horribly annoying process into one that was pretty painless. Granted, I warned him that if he screwed my firstborn, I’d blog about it 🙂 So instead, thanks to our zen car seller Bruce for working so hard to get us financed and out the door with Brian’s shiny new car.
Maybe next time the keys will be in my hand and I’ll be driving off the lot with some new wheels!
