UPDATE: Available now on Amazon.com

Hopefully you’ve been keeping up with all the Disney fun that we’ve Connie has been having round here but if not, let me give you a quick recap.  The queen of this castle, Connie, is going to be gallivanting around Los Angeles this week for the Disney/Dreamworks event and she’ll be hanging out with some pretty impressive Disney folks starting with the crew from the new Winnie the Pooh movie. On top of that, she’ll also be hanging out with some of my absolute favorite bloggers. *coughanutinanutshellcough* and getting VIP treatment for the next few days.

If that wasn’t enough,  the lucky a-list bloggers will also get to attend a screening of The Help, hang out at Disney Studios and, get this, strut their stuff at the Cars 2 premier and after party! I think it’s safe to say I’m thoroughly envious. (p.s. this post should be sponsored by lots of iRolling).  And what am I doing?  I’m here posting Winnie the Pooh giveaways…something isn’t right here!

So once Connie decides to return to planet Real Life, she’ll be updating you with all the exciting Disney news, exclusive pictures and I’m sure she’ll have a bunch of funny stories to share about the whole experience. In the meantime, I’d like to entertain you with a melody…

“He’s a bear of very little brain. She’s half of the indie folk band She & Him. This year, they come together on the big screen in “Winnie the Pooh,” which hits theaters on July 15, 2011. Actress,  Singer and Songwriter,  Zooey Deschanel, joins Winnie the Pooh and all of his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood, performing three songs for the film, including her own take on the classic “Winnie the Pooh” theme song, “A Very Important Thing to Do” and the original end-credit song “So Long,” which was written by Deschanel and performed with She & Him bandmate M. Ward.”

So whether you’re a fan of Disney, Winnie the Pooh or just indie folk music, the new Winnie the Pooh movie soundtrack is sure to please. I personally love that they’ve combined such a classic film with a fresh and modern soundtrack. I think it’s a great way to introduce your kids to one of your childhood favorites and watch it quickly become one of theirs.
