The Post Cereal company has added a new flavor to their wildly popular Honey Bunches of Oats line of cereals. The new flavor, Raisin Medley, has three different kinds of raisins – natural seedless, jumbo seedless and flame (red grapes). It also has multi-grain flakes and honeyed oat clusters. Each one-cup serving of Honey Bunches of Oats Raisin Medley has 12 grams of whole grains and 9 essential vitamins and minerals. But it doesn’t have trans fat, saturated fat, or cholesterol!

New Raisin Medley looks much like the other varieties of Honey Bunches of Oats. It is a sweetened cereal, and seems much sweeter than then regular Honey Bunches of Oats. It’s a shame, without the extra sugar, it would have been better. You can add sugar, but you can’t take it away. Because it’s not organic, it won’t become a regular in our kitchen, but it was fun to try it out.
