Operation Homefront

This Memorial Day please join pediped in their efforts to support Operation Homefront, a program created to help families of service members and wounded soldiers. Between May 24th to May 31st, the children’s footwear company will donate one pair of shoes for every pair bought on pediped.com.

No Strangers to Giving

Since 2004, when the company was founded they have donated close to $1,000,000.00 to various organizations supporting children in need through their own pediped foundation. A few of the charities that have benefited from the pediped foundation are Toys for Tots, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Soles4Souls and the Make A Wish Foundation, to which $445,000 was given in order to grant 60 wishes for and to supply 2,000 pairs of shoes for the children of Haiti. For more information about the pediped foundation or to make a donation, please visit them at pedipedfoundation.org.

Products That Care

Their motto, “Here’s to making the world a better place for children, one step at a time” also applies to the products they carry – high-quality, comfortable and stylish children’s shoes for newborns through school age children. By providing customers with the pediped Footwear System, parents can rest assured that healthy foot development and wellness will be achieved no matter what stage their child is in. For newborns, The Original line is recommended because of their flexible soles which compares to being barefoot. For children between 9 months and 3 years, when the skill of walking is being perfected, pediped recommends the Grip -n- Go line with an even combination of grip and flexibility.  Lastly, the Flex line is available for experienced walkers ages 1 through 7.

New Adventures

This season they’ve introduced the Adventure Line, a collection of eco-friendly, machine-washable, water-safe shoes available in athletic sandals for boys and girls and Mary Jane styles for girls. Both styles offer comfort in or out of the water, secure velcro closures and tough rubber toe caps for outdoor activity safety. The Adventure Line shoes are $42 each and are sold at pediped.com

I was not asked to “review” pediped, but I cannot resist sharing the pictures we took in Angelina’s new Penny shoes in pink from the Flex line. They came in the mail just as she was leaving for a birthday party today and they went perfectly for her outfit. That was my cue to bust out the camera and start snapping away!
