Almost Isn't Good Enough BookThe estimates say that about 1.5 billion people do not own a pair of shoes.  That’s unbelievable.  Especially here in the US where shoe shopping is almost a sport for some.  Even sadder, 20% of the estimated 1.5. billion people are children who were born into extreme poverty or who are suffering the aftermath of a natural disaster through the random lottery of birth.

What that means is…

…1 in 6 children do not own a pair of shoes–for many in developing nations this means a quality education is just out of reach.
…1.5 billion people live on less than $1 a day and have to choose between food for their family or clothing and shoes.
… 25% of the world lives at risk of preventable diseases like hookworm without the protection of a pair of shoes.

Shoe is a four-letter word…so is hope.

Wayne Elsey, founder and CEO of Soles4Souls was so overwhelmed by the suffering he saw that he left a corporate career and founded the international non-profit.  In just six years he’s spearheaded the distribution of 14 millions shoes in more than 127 countries.

His book Almost Isn’t Good Enough, isn’t an auto-biography.  It’s insights into his life and the principles which have helped Soles4Souls grow and thrive.  It’s an invitation to intercede on the behalf of others, to connect, and to change the world.

You provide 10 pairs of shoes to the shoeless for every book you purchase.

Wayne is donating 10 pairs of shoes with every book purchase.  Purchase a copy of Almost Isn’t Good Enough to inspire yourself to leverage what you have to make a difference in the lives of people around the world.  Additionally, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the books will benefit and further advance the Soles4Souls mission.
