The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

I can’t believe that the last installment of the Hunger Games movies is out in theaters on November 20th. It doesn’t seem possible. I remember the day my son convinced me to read the trilogy of books that centered around a strong female character who was made to endure a contest where there was only one victor and the fight was to the death. MOANA: Disney Casts 14-Year Native Hawaiian in Lead Role

Walt Disney Animation Studios has cast native Hawaiian, Auli’i Cravalho, 14, in the lead role in “MOANA.” This talented teen was chosen from hundreds of gifted actors who auditioned for the role opposite Dwayne Johnson. She has enjoyed singing and dancing since she was a small child, but this high school sophomore never imagined she’d be cast in a Disney movie.
