I’ll admit it. I know a lot about tires, but I’ve never even checked my tire pressure. My husband maintains my car, it’s something he enjoys doing for me. At this time of my life, it’s not likely I’ll start doing car DIY, so it’s comforting to know that should I ever require new tires, Sam’s Club can take care of me.
I already trust them for great prices on groceries, electronic, eye glasses and more, so I’d likely shop there for my car too. They carry recognized brands like Goodyear, Pirella, BF Goodrich, and Michelin, plus they promise unbeatable prices on their tires and include a Tire Installation Package with each tire purchase. This package includes tire mounting, plus lifetime balancing and rotation, a value stem, no-charge lifetime flat repair, and 24-hour emergency roadside service, as long as you remain an active Sam’s Club member*.
If you’re thinking of taking a summer road trip, consider giving yourself one less thing to worry about by checking out the Sam’s Club Dare to Compare event (#DareToCompare). Having tires with proper tread, alignment, and balance is essential for your safety but it can also affect your gas mileage. Don’t take the chance of finding yourself broken down on the side of the road due to a blown tire.
Sam’s Club Dare to Compare Price Matching
Sam’s Club stands behind their promise of great prices. Should you find a better deal elsewhere, bring in your valid “all-in”‘ tire quote on the dealer/retailer’s letterhead within seven days from the date it’s written to your local Sam’s Club Tire and Battery Center service counter. The tires must be like for like – same brand, line, load index, and speed rating (service description) as the Sam’s Club tire(s) you intend to purchase. If you’re looking at a club-specific tire line, Sam’s Club will consider them equivalent to a general market tire. Currently, that includes: Club-Specific Tire Model General-Market Tire Model BFGoodrich Touring T/A BFGoodrich Advantage T/A Michelin Defender XT Michelin Defender Michelin X Radial LT2 Michelin LTX M/S2 BF Goodrich 5/6/2015 5/31/2015 $50/$70 off a set of 4 Michelin 5/14/2015 7/5/2015 $70 off set of 4 Pirelli 5/15/2015 7/12/2015 $80 Instant Savings Goodyear 6/24/2015 8/31/2015 $70 off a set of 4
Summer Tire Safety Tips
I convinced my husband to give me his best summer tire safety tips. He’s a firefighter and has seen his share of accidents caused by “bad” tires. Make sure when you take off on your summer road trip that your car and tires are ready, so you don’t end up needing assistance too.
Here’s to wonderful and safe summer adventures full of laughter!

WE need new tires on one of our cars this summer. Great information.
We just recently had to replace one of our tires. It always seem like the right rear tire always has tons of problems.
Last year we got hit hard with tire issues on 3 major vehicles. Your tips are right on point. We had most of these issues cause our problems and in turn we replaced tires on 2 trucks, 1 car and a camping trailer
I never thought about Sams for tires….next time we need them I will tell my hubby to check there.
We bought all new tires for both of our vehicles last winter. The treads were so bad on both trucks, they all had to be replaced!
This is all really good info! I’m not the primary car care person in our family. Thankfully, my husband takes care of most of it, but it’s good to have a basic knowledge! Thanks for the info on Sam’s Club program. We’ll be traveling to Vermont next month and I should stop in and have things checked before we leave!
Thanks for these tips. I think this is a good reminder, especially if you are heading out on a summer road trip.
We make sure to check the tire air pressure and the treads often. Such a good reminder bc in the summer people often forget and think tire maintenance is a winter event.
It’s easy to forget when the weather is good, but that’s the time to be sure you do!
This was such a thorough article/review. I like the way you simplified it for those of us who might not know that much about Tires
It’s good to know they are willing to price match. I’ll have to remember this before my next big trip.
Good Advice. I need to look into this.
Im horrible at this kind of stuff. Its always good to know, thanks!
All great tips! So important to check your tires before you head off to vacation!
We typically buy or tires at Walmart, but will check into this since it’s right next door.
Awesome tips I am always worried about my tires. Printing this out to keep handy!
My hubby is really good at keeping the car and truck in good shape! I’ll share all this great info with him!
Great tips! Perfect for all those with vehicles. I’ll be sure to pass on to my friends!
This is so important. I’m paranoid I’ll have a tire blow on the turnpike.
What wonderful tips. I will pass these one to husband as we are planning a few trips this summer and want to be safe.
Those are some great tips! You just reminded me that I need to check my air pressure. One of my tires looks low.
Great tips! I am always worried about my tires.. After having a flat at our local target I always check before we get in the car. We have a portable compressor so I’m never stuck. I wish we had a Sam’s club here.. I have heard great things about this store!
Those are great tips. We will be taking a few road trips this summer so we will use these.
